- Hardware Hacking with the Arduino
- November 21, 2009 - Introduction to Arduino 1 and 2 at HackPittsburgh. Matt Stultz and Jon Speicher held a double header of classes. Morning students built an Arduino clone from a kit, afternoon students learned to program them by building a physical pixel.
- July 25th, 2009 - Introduction to Arduino at Hack Pittsburgh. Students built an own Arduino clone from a kit
- May 9, 2009 - Arduino Night 2 Jon Speicher hosted an event to program the Arduinos built during the first Arduino Night
- March 28, 2009 - Arduino Night Matt Stultz hosted an event to build your own Arduino from a kit.

Ideas for Future Classes
- How to make laser cut / etched parts
- We could give an intro to Inkscape &/or Corel Draw & then burn them out. This assumes that we have access to a laser machine though.
- Introduction to Soldering
- I know a lot of people coming into this are completely on the software side and/or would like a refresher. They could even leave with something they built. (Promotion w/ SparkFun, et al. possible?)
- Introduction to Welding
- I know nothing about welding but I'd love to learn --Finsprings 02:35, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
- Introduction to Using an Oscilloscope
- I've never used one, but I've always wanted to. It could really be useful for everyone to know how they work.
