  • Tied with MIT in NYC, good job!!!
  • Not currently in working condition
  • Going to begin upgrading/improving it
  • IEEE Robotics society talk about it in December with Gene
    • Have the talk at HackPGH

  • Eli vacuum formed new body panels for Maker Faire PGH
  • Delorean looks great, and will be perfect again by BTTF night

Old Business

• Pittsburgh Maker Faire October 10 and 11.
  • Great success! 7500 people came
  • HackPGH had about 10 projects in our booth
  • Very popular booth
  • Tons of media advertising for HackPGH

• We need to get rid of some stuff here at the shop.
  • Still need to get rid of ATM.
  • Vending Machine (Back on the chopping block). (Need to contact Anthony)
    • Functional soda machine over broken vending machine. Yes!

• Printers need ink
  • Update: Working!

• Get new/bigger space for HackPittsburgh
  • $120 to insulate garage door in current shop according to Gabe
  • Better insulation will cut heating losses in winter and help fund new/bigger space
  • Build a very nice presentation area (in Harold's space) with modern A/V tech and rent the space to other meetup groups
  • The members present at the meeting unanimously agree to pursue expanding the shop,(getting Harold's space)
  • Send this out to the discussion list before we vote on it.

• Suggestion to have shop clean once a quarter or once a month
  • Especially important if we plan to move to new space
  • Every other month
  • Sunday instead of Saturday
  • Last Sunday of the month

New Business

• Scott^2 is trying to become board member of Start-uptown
  • HackPGH and Startuptown working together
• Make Friday or another day a day for public to come check out shop?
  • We will need to guarantee that someone will be in shop during that time
