• Autonomous Power Wheels
  • Did a lot of testing with small RC car and Lidar and ROS
  • Will work on full size chassis this weekend

  • Will make motor easy to replace with new motor during race
  • We need people to race, pits, track marshals, etc.

New Business

• Gene is stepping down from the board.
  • Emergency election, probably next members meeting
  • Send email to info@hackpittsburgh.org if you want to run

• New induction procedure.
  • 1 month trial period, get rfid card, not physical key
  • Allow members to get to know you
  • Current membership votes to allow new member in or not after a month
  • Get rid of old interview process
  • Ideas of membership from whiteboard:
  • The ideas below were voted on by the members present
    • 1 month probation with option to extend
    • Everyone discusses and votes on potential new member
    • 2 Board members and 3 members vote on member
    • Input from all and board votes
    • Get RFID card but no key for a month, must be accompanied by full member
    • Positive ID required (verify but not keep)
    • References optional but not mandatory
    • Board gives shop tour
    • Post name and photo of potential new member during trial period at the shop. They can opt out of photo.

• Vote on the new induction process
  • All present members vote to approve
