Safety Information
This table saw is equipped with a highly effective SawStop Safety Mechanism to prevent catastrophic personal injury from the spinning saw blade. However, the user should take all usual safety precautions for using table saws. Significant injury can still occur and the SawStop Safety Mechanism does not prevent injury from other sources, such as kick back.
See Sawstop Reminders for more information.
Usage Instructions
Startup
- Connect the dust collector hose and turn on the dust collector.
- Flip the power switch to ON and wait for a steady green light.
- Verify that the Safety Mechanism sensors are working by touching the side of the saw blade. The red light next to the power switch will illuminate.
- Before cutting treated wood or wood that is of questionable dryness, touch a sample to the side of the saw blade to confirm that it will not trigger the Safety Mechanism.
Shutdown
- Return the saw blade to fully perpendicular and lower it all the way into the cabinet.
- Flip the power switch to OFF.
