Other Reminders

Vinyl Cutter (Small)

  1. Sure Cuts A Lot 4 Pro, on MacBook
  2. ? Inst BT Material
  3. Take cutter offline using "On Line" Button
  4. Adjust Rollers
    1. Lift lever on back of cutter
    2. Move material
    3. Press lever down
  5. Any unused rollers, lift lever
  6. Use arrow button to zero head
    1. Crosshairs button in center of arrows resets zero to current location
  7. Zero location should be in lower, right corner of material
  8. Press the "On Line" button again to bring the machine online.
    1. make sure the screen says "on line"
  9. Back to MacBook
    1. Preview button, at top right
    2. Click the "Cutter" button, at top right
      1. dialog pops up
      2. usually take defaults
  10. when [cutting is?] complete, lift roller levers & remove [material?]
  11. "weed" the vinyl (peel away the material you don't want)
  12. apply transfer tape
    1. buff transfer tape hard

Note: transfer tape, the idea is that you stick the vinyl letters, etc, to the tape, use the tape to peel the vinyl letters from the backing, then press the vinyl letters against whatever you want to stick them to.
