• June 18th - Model Railroading Club
  • Shop clean moved everything around. Looking for solutions to storing the layouts. May have a layout ready for MakerFaire.

  • Anthony and Jonathon showed up.
• June 25nd - Intro to ROS
• June 24th - Tesla Club

  • 20 persons. Presentation about iredmail(?).
• June 28th - SHOP CLEAN!
  • Working area cleaned up. We now have access to tools!

Shop Projects / Updates

• Power wheels
  • For Detroit, needs cleanup of body, connections rework, ...
  • New project... Autonomous power wheels racer!
  • This will be in addition to the Hack to Future
    • Racing at NYC Maker Faire separate from power wheels race
    • Right now its HackPgh vs Microsoft
    • Let Eli know if you want to work on it

• CNC Router
  • End stops are here. No status on the installation. EJ will send schematics and be available.
  • Talk to Bob, Chad, Alex to learn to use it

• Laser Cutter
  • Out of stock for chiller, Waiting patiently for it to come back in stock.
    • Must use purchased ice due to the water from the ice goes thru the laser.

• 3-D Printer
  • Currently down. Almost ready to come back up.
  • Eli and Chad were working on it.
  • BoXZY gave us new extruders.
  • If you want a private class see Eli, Alex, or Chad.

• Foundry project by Alex and Wesley
  • Waiting for Alex to get build list sent to us.
  • Waiting on Alex to bring in his kiln for shop use.

• Server
  • Both servers are up and working. Working on static IP addresses.

• Open Source Brewing
  • Waiting for cooler weather for brewing.

    • Monday Tuesday and Wednesday are most popular. Saturday is 4th place.

• Detroit Maker Faire
  • Too late for projects for Detroit. Power Wheels is the only accepted project.
  • Detroit Faire is July 24-26
    • We need to see who is going... Like a few days ago... if you want to go you need to talk to us NOW!
    • Powerwheels appearing to be pushed by Locomotive.
    • We will not show projects
    • We need to know who is going to Detroit Maker Faire for power wheels ASAP. (I put this in twice on purpose)
    • Need to figure out hotels ASAP
    • PGH maker faire people are staying at the best western (Same as last year). Book again?

• Pittsburgh Maker Faire October 10 and 11.
  • The call for makers is out! GOTO makerfairepittsburgh.com!
  • HackPGH will have a booth with shop projects. You still need to register!
  • REGISTER!!!!! REGISTER!!!! REGISTER!!!!

• Lets talk about making the space more inviting and nice.
  • Use lift to put Power Wheels out of the way.
  • Labeling the workstations, 3d printer, laser cutter, wifi password
  • There are new barcodes on each machine... scan it and it takes you to the wiki page!
    • Feel free to edit it! Make it better! The more info the better!
  • Want to clean something and make shop better? DO IT!
  • Things to do for volunteer hours

• We need to get rid of some stuff here at the shop.
  • ATM - You have 2 weeks to start a project with it or it goes...
  • Old Oscilloscopes - Recycle?

• Mill
  • Sold out from under us.

• Crafts area
  • Don't put anything in front of any working area!
  • Needs to be more attractive and organized
  • We should be able to show it off

• 2nd power wheels car in addition to Delorean
  • Internal HackPgh competition
  • Have the shop fund the cars?
  • Discussion about EJ motion to the list will be at the next meeting.

• Raspberry Pis connected to the network need a shelf to sit on.
