New Business

• Maker Faire Detroit Recap
  • Finished the car at 11pm Friday night. Race Saturday 10am
  • Chassis great, handling great
  • Brushless motor became challenge, prevented us from qualifying
  • Brushless motor hall effect sensors were very very hard to calibrate
  • We want to go with DC motor for NYC race, or fix brushless
  • 17th/37th place even though we only raced in endurance race
  • 13th/30 in endurance race
• Need to clean space.
• Adam MetaMesh, Free Fiber internet for Hill District
  • Adam asked if we can store the router at the shop, we get free super fast wifi
  • Bring up to vote: All 7 members present vote in favor
• Key and Badge for Joel and Brittney
  • 6/7 members vote in favor to give Brittney from Maker Faire few months of membership, John Lewis abstains
  • Make new rule for people who made very large donations to get invitation from board to have temp membership
    • Board needs to vote on this
  • Vote at next board meeting for Joel from Boxzy to get temporary membership
• Makers for Press Conference WTAE, News, Mayor, Mini, Mini, Mini Maker Faire

• Vinyl Cut Open Shop Hours on door.
• Lets put Open Shop recurring on Meetup. Excellent way to attract new members.
• Jeremy Tiogar is working on making a Vaccum Forming Table for shop. 2 feet by 2 feet
