  • Bought new controller, contacter, motor (identical to current motor), throttle with Eli's and Chad's own funds

  • Bob bought 2nd dremel tool
  • Old dremel tool, bearings and brushes died

• Laser Cutter
  • Out of stock for chiller, Waiting patiently for it to come back in stock.
    • Must use ice.
    • Warranty will be done within days, we should look it over, make sure nothing needs fixed

• 3-D Printer
  • Currently down. Almost ready to come back up.
    • Needs wiring and calibration

• Foundry project by Alex and Wesley
  • Waiting for Alex to get build list sent to us.
    • No updates

• Server
  • Both servers are up and working.
  • Artemis stuff is stored on there currently

• Open Source Brewing
  • Waiting for cooler weather for brewing.
    • No updates

Old Business

• Detroit Maker Faire
  • How did it go?
    • 1st place in Moxie, 3rd place overall.
    • Car survived, but some broken body panels, fuses kept blowing, throttle issues

• Pittsburgh Maker Faire October 10 and 11.
  • The call for makers is out! GOTO makerfairepittsburgh.com!
  • HackPGH will have a booth with shop projects. You still need to register!
  • REGISTER!!!!! REGISTER!!!! REGISTER!!!!
  • You have until August 15 for round 2
  • Makerfaire infosession on 8/8
  • Need to clean place up before that. Friday evening.

• We need to get rid of some stuff here at the shop.

• John brought in new printer for shop.
  • Lets choose one of the printers to keep, but we need to do research on how much ink costs and etc.

New Business

• New induction procedure.
  • 1 month trial period, get rfid card, not physical key
  • Allow members to get to know you
  • Current membership votes to allow new member in or not after a month
  • Get rid of old interview process

• Next members meeting will be Wed, not Tuesday, one last time. 8/19
