Board (Formerly known as "Council")

The board consists of five HackPGH members that are elected by the membership. Terms are two years, and there's an election in February every year. People don't get voted into specific positions; they just get voted into the board, and then the board sorts out among themselves who does what. Not all positions will always be filled at the same time.

    • Accessing the security camera system and knowing how to archive and export segments of recorded video.
    • Being able to take out garbage and recycling occasionally on Monday nights and know where supplies are.
    • Knowing where supplies are kept and reporting when new supplies need to be ordered to the Treasurer.
    • Knowing where to find passwords and Board documents through Last Pass and Google Drive.
    • Be able to independently schedule classes, polls, votes, and adjust membership details in Wild Apricot.
    • Know where to retrieve mail and how to contact the building owners the McNutts.
    • Have a supportive, connective, reassuring, and professional attitude with members inside the shop as well as parties outside the shop.
